Mindex released the latest version of its student management software, schooltool, on March 23. This update includes new features in discipline reports and improvements throughout the application.
Previous releases included modifications to support SSEC discipline changes, and now users will be able to see all SSEC incidents in a Discipline module report. Incidents are broken into categories based on the worksheet districts submit to New York State. The report allows users to collapse and expand certain sections, as well as see information about specific incidents.
Counselors now have the ability to batch add alternate enrollments, allowing the addition of a large number of alternate enrollments for a summer school session or a group of out-of-district students.
The Medical module now respects building school levels, allowing nurses assigned to more than one building to see only one building at a time.
Improvements have been made in schooltool Premier’s Course Attendance dashboard. Users will now be able to drill down data in the chart and export to Microsoft Excel.
The schooltool mobile application also allows parents to email teachers directly from the Full Schedule View on the student record. For more information on the 15.3 release, customers can view Feature Documentation and Release Notes on the Knowledge Base.
The next schooltool release will be in Summer 2018.
