Mindex released the latest version of its student management software, schooltool, on December 14. This update includes new features in the mobile application, and improvements throughout the software.
Parents and students will now be able to receive marking period grades and daily attendance push notifications on their mobile phones, if their districts have set up use. Users can allow these notifications in their mobile app settings.
Student census information can now be brought into schooltool through an external registration API in the Census module.
Users with access to the Medical module will be able to add medical notes to a student’s record, including uploading attachments.
This release also includes enhanced search options for Student Check-In View.
Included in the 16.2 version is Version 9.1 of the schooltool Premier Suite. Many of the dashboards have been enhanced and include new permissions in schooltool Maintenance for access to charts and features.
For more information on the 16.3 release, customers can view Feature Documentation and Release Notes on the Knowledge Base.
The next schooltool release will be in Spring 2019.
